Rachel’s role will involve providing administrative support for Health Data Research UK’s training and learning opportunities. Specifically, she will work alongside Dona to develop our Black Internship programme. Rachel holds a degree in Marine Biology, Ecology & Conservation, and a Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training. Prior to HDR UK Rachel spent 10 years as a Further Education Biology teacher (learners aged 16-19) and in 2021 became Head of Student Support for Science & Engineering alongside her teaching responsibilities.
Rachel is excited to be working with the training team at HDR UK, providing training and learning opportunities to nurture the skills of new and existing health data scientists.
